“I am drawn to this piece as I love the texture of the cold cast bronze. I like seeing the physical process that the artist has used to create the rough surface of the cows – I like the movement as they twist and turn to scratch themselves. There is a real playfulness to their characters and a humour in the title evoking a sense of fun and companionship between them.”
The Artist is currently doing a foundation year at Falmouth School of Art and next year will go on to study for a degree in French and History of Art. He sculpted this piece in wax, using an armature, before casting in bronze.
