Call for entries – just over a week left

Just 9 days remain to enter your work into the RWA’s annual Autumn Exhibition! Submissions of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and architecture from unknown, emerging and established artists, including RWA Academicians, can be made online using our Online Submission System (OSS), until 5pm on 19 September 2012 (entry fees apply).

:: Selected works will be hung in the Royal West of England Academy’s beautiful day-lit galleries for the 2 months of the exhibition. This summer saw upgrading of the glazing and floors to three galleries, much improving the exhibiting spaces described as ‘a jewel in the crown of England’s exhibiting venues’ (The Spectator) .

:: Thousands of visitors will see your work – the show is one of the most popular in the RWA calendar, the highlight of the year for many art-lovers and art-buyers.

:: Every selected work is eligible for the exhibition prizes, which include bronze casting (£500 value), framing (£250 value), UWE course (£450 value), art business consultancy (£250), and a feature in ART magazine’s Spring issue.

:: Artists featured in the exhibition will be invited to the private view to be among the first to see the 160th Autumn Exhibition on its opening night.

:: Tickets to the traditional Varnishing Day lunch are only available to exhibiting artists, their guests, and RWA Academicians, making this exclusive event a truly special occasion.
