He has exhibited widely across the British lsles and most notably in Hong Kong and the South of France.  His most recent solo show was at the Art Room at Topsham, Devon in 2013. His work is featured in many public and private collections including Bristol City Art Gallery and the Royal West of England Academy.

Although trained in the classical style of his generation and reflecting those disciplines and observations Robert has gradually developed his own distinctive and idiosyncratic painting technique through a natural process of curiosity. As well as an ability for living life to the full Robert also enjoys a singular talent for friendship and loyalty and we all look forward to enjoying his 100th birthday celebrations in three years time.
